Bieganski the Blog exists to further explore the themes of the book Bieganski the Brute Polak Stereotype, Its Role in Polish-Jewish Relations and American Popular Culture.
These themes include the false and damaging stereotype of Poles as brutes who are uniquely hateful and responsible for atrocity, and this stereotype's use in distorting WW II history and all accounts of atrocity.

Over the years, I have observed many cases of Poles doing unilateral concessions to Jews and engaging in unrequited favors to Jews. And now, with this pro-Israel march by Poles, I feel compelled to ask, "What will Jews do for Poles in return?" To stop effectively blaming Poland for the German-made Holocaust would be a good start.
ReplyDeleteJews, Polish Jews and others, have done a hell of a lot for Poland, as this blog has pointed out and documented. Anyone who hates Jews is blinded by that hatred and can't see the good Jews have done for Poland.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jews have EFFECTIVELY argued against the Bieganski stereotype. Not all Jews, because ethnicity does not determine behavior. Whereas too many Poles, as comments on this blog show, whine that Poles can't do anything to address the Bieganski stereotype because Poles are helpless and can't do anything to help themselves, waaa waaa waaa.
