One of the more confounding and depressing facts of World War II is that after the war various forces conspired to protect notorious, known Nazis.
For example, there were the ratlines, operated, inter alia, by pro-Nazi Catholic priests. See here.
There was Operation Paperclip, a US government program to bring Nazis to the US so they could aid American military research and development. See here.
The Soviets ran a parallel program, Operation Osoaviakhim. See here.
On July 15, 2022, the NPR program On Point interviewed the maker of the new film about Adolf Eichmann, "The Devil's Confession."
Filmmaker Yariv Mozer bases his film on previously obscure recordings of Eichmann taking full responsibility for his crimes.
Host Meghna Chakrabarti says that in the film it is pointed out that during the Eichmann trial, Israel suppressed information about Nazis then living in West Germany in order not to chill relations with West Germany, and also suppressed the Eichmann tapes, because Israel was, at that time, developing a nuclear weapon.
Mozer says that Israel wanted money from West Germany to develop its nuclear program. West Gernany's condition was that Israel stop looking for Nazis even though, Mozer says, "West Germany was filled with them and they were still in powerful positions ... They didn't want more trials. They didn't want more names to be mentioned in the Eichmann trial."
Mozer says he does not criticize David Gen Gurion's actions on this matter because Ben Gurion did what he had to do to secure Israel's future.
Wow! More evidence that Israel and Germany are in cahoots. Many Poles had suspected this all along. Where will it end?
ReplyDeleteHello Jan, and all, it will come to an end at Armageddon when our Creator, Jehovah, ends the time during which "man has dominated man to his harm".
DeleteAs for it coming to an end before then, i am not at all hopeful, given the amount of effort that has gone in to putting Poland on the "unter" page, (dis)courtesy of the most powerful media and academe in the world. I have to assume that was done for a reason, a political reason.
However, here is this reassuring promise from Daniel, the faithful Hebrew prophet of old. Under inspiration, he wrote:
“In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever."
And its rulership over the earth will be a loving, perfect and impartial one. It is something to be longed for.

"There’s not a single NT story, passage, or lesson that can exist without being infused with hatred for the Jews. Even a thread on people with special needs has to include the medieval trope of the perfidious Jew." The NT was written long time before Middle Ages.
