A Polite Invitation to Polonia: Support Polish-American Scholars
When Andrzej was attacked, he had no support.
We can change that.
You can read the piece here or here.

Bieganski the Blog exists to further explore the themes of the book Bieganski the Brute Polak Stereotype, Its Role in Polish-Jewish Relations and American Popular Culture.
These themes include the false and damaging stereotype of Poles as brutes who are uniquely hateful and responsible for atrocity, and this stereotype's use in distorting WW II history and all accounts of atrocity.
This blog welcomes comments from readers that address those themes. Off-topic and anti-Semitic posts are likely to be deleted.

You have previously posted, or attempted to post, in an inappropriate manner.
You keep repeating the same things over and over and over again.
Again, African-Americans (and Jews) are an esteemed victim group: Poles are not.
ReplyDeleteAny form of Polish activism, assuming it develops before hell freezes over, must be expressed in terms of a broader fight against the cultural Marxism that rules over western societies.
Jan at least you had the courage to respond. You are the only one.
ReplyDeleteA Polonia that ignores the wider world, that exhibits tunnel vision, that blames Jews for its woes, Polonians who do not treat each other with respect, who encourage infighting, who aren't addressing the real concerns of real Polish Americans working in real academic and other settings, is a completely impotent Polonia.
Polonia sabotages itself with its own self defeating behavior and its refusal to function in the real world.
All the back and forth sniping on internet discussion boards does nothing for a real, live, Polish American like Andrzej.
Jerzy Pankiewicz you submitted a comment. I did not post it. Here's why. Have you looked at the guidelines? I request on-topic posts and factually accurate posts.
ReplyDeleteYour submission had nothing to do with the topic of this blog post, and also the claim you made about your link was incorrect. In fact Bernie Sanders is not president of the United States, and he did not, in the link you provided, say anything negative about Poles or Poland.
„Antisemitic Poland” is a sterotype like „Beautiful France” or „African Uganda”. If you accept the sterotype, you accept to be Bieganski.
ReplyDelete“The Nazis” murdered, not Germans. It’s an another sterotype.
Now is the time to influence Sanders. It will be too late after the elections.
Jerzy I would love to see some on topic comments from you.
ReplyDeleteJerzy what do you think Polonia could have done to support Andrzej? And why didn't Polonia do that? And what is the long term cost of Polonians not supporting their scholars?
ReplyDeleteJerzy I'm inviting you to think about what Polonia can do for Polonia. And you are ignoring me and banging the same old drum. Jews are saying mean things about Poland. I read the entire article you attempted to post. It contained ZERO negative comments about Poland by a Jew.
