Adam Koprowski, a spokesperson for Jagiellonian University, told local newspaper Dziennik Polski: “We are extremely sorry that such a situation took place. “This banner, from what I know, was hung by someone at night and was immediately removed from the fence after this fact was revealed, along with other slogans. “The case was also reported to the police, which is conducting an investigation.” A spokesman for Krakow police said that the incident is being investigated under the crime of “incitement to hatred on the grounds of nationality.”

    Jan Peczkis, what you wrote, above, is morally wrong and factually wrong.

    I let it through because I want anyone reading here to know what some say

    "What goes around comes around."

    That is abhorrent. Jews did nothing to deserve being gassed.

    Thank you for the kind words Karen, much appreciated.

    And Jan, as we know we live in the world of 1984, in which "All hate speech is equal, but some is more equal than others". And some gets a Pulitzer Prize!. But that is "the world" for you - the current wicked system of things on the earth.

    I contrast it with the perfect standards of our loving Creator, the God of Abraham, who teaches us the Golden Rule, which requires us to treat everyone with the kindness and respect we would want for ourselves.

    And that standard rules out hateful slogans like "Jews to the Gas", and also depicting a whole people as "pigs/swine"..
