NY Assemblyman Dov Hikind: Poland Murdered Jews. Poland is Responsible for the Holocaust

NY Assemblyman Dov Hikind has launched a website entitled Poland Murdered Jews. See it here.

  1. I have seen the site.

    Great.

    Let's have another website:

    Jews Murdered Poles

As I said many times before: Equal Time for Jewish Crime

  2. Since no amount of contrary evidence is going to make opportunistic, arrogant, Polonophobic ignoramuses like Hikind reconsider their position, we have to stop explaining, providing facts, or in other ways trying to appeal to their reason or conscience. We have to use their strategy: attack, attack, attack. And we should not hesitate to bring up the Judenrat, the Jewish police, the Jewish Gestapo, Naliboki, Koniuchy, Skidel, Brzostowica Mala, the countless massacres of the Palestinians, the Gaza death camp, the Negev concentration camp, apartheid, etc. We cannot be afraid of the "anti-Semite/anti-Semitic" labels and we cannot be silenced by them.

I'm fully aware that this sounds crazy, but an insane situation calls for drastic methods. We have to learn to use our oppressor's tools and to use them well. And I do not hesitate to call Jews as a collective our oppressors. (I’m only aware of two Jews who have publicly or semi-publicly objected to the Jewish anti-Polish campaign: Janusz Sujecki and Nathan Leipciger. As far as I know, others have taken a vow of silence.) The extreme power imbalance between Poles and Jews should not be overlooked or dismissed in any analysis of the contemporary Jewish-Polish relations. The Jewish anti-Polish campaign wouldn’t have been launched if Jews didn't have disproportionate economic, political, and social power and unmatched influence on the production and dissemination of knowledge and information, and more importantly, if they weren’t willing to so ruthlessly and unscrupulously take advantage of their power.

There are other such Jews. For example: Seth J. Franzman.

    2. Lukasz you wrote another post, which is a great post. I'm going to hold off on posting it. I'm inviting you to post, instead, under the new post about a remarkable Polish American. This is my small effort to get us talking about a remarkable Polish American, rather than focusing on Dov Hikind. We've all had our say here. Now let's celebrate one of our own.

  3. Jan and Ane, as ever I welcome readers' posts. I just need to make clear that I don't share your point of view.

Jews are not the enemy. the problem here is Dov Hikind, not Jews qua Jews.

There are plenty of Jews who have come to Poles' and Poland's defense.

There is no power imbalance. Poles just don't use the power that they have.

I ask you both not to post follow up posts saying, "You're wrong I'm right" because I don't want to devote energy to moderating a debate. I thank you in advance.

You both had a chance to state your point of view; I had a chance to state mine; nothing can be gained by any back and forth here on this blog.

  4. I certainly agree we should stay right out of the defensive corner. We should tell our story- as we are doing (against the odds) - but not in this context.

This is all politics. I say that because if it was really about what happened in WW2, wouldn't it be the countries that actually were in the Axis that were coming in for all this professorjangrossery - or maybe the countries that stayed neutral?

Not that I am wanting anyone vilified by the way! Isn't the truth about WW2 that both sides did some terrible unGodly things - Stalin on one side, Hitler on the other, both killing millions in the service of their mad "isms"?

And I have never, thank God, been caught up in circumstances of such horror, and would not presume to judge those who have.

We - us Poles/Polonians - have been put on the "unter" page and will therefore be wrong whatever we do. Should we suddenly be taken off it - and even moved to the "uber" page (!) - then I expect we will find that whatever we do is right. I am guessing as I have had no experience of being "uber".

The lesson here for me is to keep on trying to stay right out of politics - and to stay neutral even in my heart. This is where having had a Polish father is a great help, given how much Poland has suffered at the hands of both sides.

And above all i want to follow the perfect example of Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 2:21-23 tells us: "In fact, to this course you were called, because even Christ suffered for you, leaving a model for you to follow his steps closely.  He committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth. When he was being insulted, he did not insult in return. When he was suffering, he did not threaten, but he entrusted himself to the One who judges righteously."

When Jesus was being insulted, he did not insult in return. He did not threaten. He trusted in his Father with all his heart.

And our Creator, the God of Abraham, teaches us that love "does not keep account of the injury". Isn't "the world" trying to push us all in the opposite direction as hard as it can - with the result that hatreds are on the rise everywhere?

Now, as a damaged child of disobedient Adam, I cannot be perfect (I hope to be one day, but I cannot make myself perfect). But I can do my best to follow Jesus' perfect example and not let any pressure "the world" brings to cause me to stop following in his footsteps.

The congregations worldwide will be memorialising Jesus sacrificial death tomorrow night - Saturday 31st of March (the 14th day of Nisan), after sunset. You will be most welcome at your local Kingdom Hall if you would like to attend.

It is the one day of the year Captain Butterfly comes to the Hall with me, so its extra extra special.

  5. This sorry excuse of a man happens to be a Democrat i.e leftist. Chesterton was right-people who hate Poland are mostly leftists.

    Aneta Brody

The Jewish anti-Polish campaign wouldn’t have been launched if Jews didn't have disproportionate economic, political, and social power and unmatched influence on the production and dissemination of knowledge and information, and more importantly, if they weren’t willing to so ruthlessly and unscrupulously take advantage of their power.

I would say it's so much Jews per se but some Jews at the top. This type of action somehow reminds me of How the Judenräte operated- the disdain they had for the poor often Hassidic Jews they sold to the Germans in order to save their own skin and to enrich themselves (like Rumkowski in the Łódź Ghetto). They do not think about the consequences and then they don't care. A consequence of such a defamatory behaviour is that Poles have stopped caring about Jews. They are also no longer willing to take them in for a second time if need be. Some are even comparing Jewish migration to Muslim migration in the west and I have to admit there is something to this notion.

  6. Sue,

Thank you for your warm reply. It’s much appreciated.

It took me a very long time to understand the wisdom of the saying “If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other”. I first heard it in a religion class when I was a child, but the now simple and obvious message seemed incomprehensible and counterintuitive. Then as an adult I came across the same message in some book on Buddhism and life forced me to give it a try. And it worked amazingly well. Unfortunately, lately I often forget about the wisdom of nonresistance and I suffer as a result—until someone like you reminds me about it and I feel better. Thank you!

    Dr. Goska and Jacek Bronicki,

You are absolutely correct that Jews collectively are not the enemy and that they are not responsible for the anti-Polish campaign. Last night I came home tired and hungry, I watched Hikind’s video, read some of the comments, and temporarily lost sanity.

    Jacek Bronicki,

I don’t consider Democrats to be leftists (perhaps some of their rhetoric, definitely not their economic policy) and I don’t think that people who hate Poland are leftists. They come from all over the political spectrum.

“Some are even comparing Jewish migration to Muslim migration in the west and I have to admit there is something to this notion.” I’m not sure what you mean, but I sense some disdain for Muslims. And I don’t understand its roots. What did the Muslims collectively, or the Muslim migrants in Europe specifically, do to the Poles?

    1. Hello Ane- thank so much. You have made today, a very special day (as it is the Memorial of Jesus death tonight after sunset) even better. So glad to know what I said helped and that something positive has come out of all this hate.
I too need constant reminders and i get them through the congregation.

We will be able to make a much stronger and more effective response to this outpouring of hatred and contempt if we listen to our Creator and do not let it shape us. Its been quite a struggle recently!

Psalm 37 contains perfect advice - and also assures us of the coming rescue.

And aren't these words as true today as when they were written down centuries ago:

"This is what Jehovah says, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, The One teaching you to benefit yourself, The One guiding you in the way you should walk.  If only you would pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river And your righteousness like the waves of the sea." - Isaiah 48:17,18

If we pay attention to our Creator, we can have peace of mind, even now. and we can be assured of the rescue - the rescue we pray for when we say the Lord's prayer and ask for God's Kingdom to come. It is so close now.

You say: "I don’t think that people who hate Poland are leftists. They come from all over the political spectrum."

Yup. I agree. We have suffered so much at the hands of both Left and Right. Still, on the doubleplusgood side, doesn't that make it all that much easier to stay neutral, to take no sides, to be "no part" of the world?

  12. In an interview for Super Express, professor Norman Finkelstein said that some Jews hate Poland and Poles because they consider them stupid and uncultured and feel superior to them. They also hate Germans, but their hatred toward them is different--they consider Germans their equals: intelligent and cultured.
