Forward: Polish Priest Says that Truth for Jews is Whatever is Beneficial to Jews

From the article:

Father Henryk Zielinski, editor-in-chief of the Catholic weekly Idziemy, said that

"Jews have 'a completely different system of values, a different concept of truth,' Zielinski said. 'For us, the truth corresponds to facts. For the Jew, truth means something that conforms to his understanding of what’s beneficial. If a Jew is religious, then truth means something God wants.'

In non-religious Jews, 'the truth is subjective or whatever serves Israel’s interests,' he added."

  1. Sad but true.

It's always been this way, and we have seen a heavy dose of it in the last few months.

    Enough said.

  2. Jan Peczkis your statement, above, is overtly antisemitic.

Jews don't have a different standard of truth than non Jews.

Einstein was a Jew. Jonas Salk, who gave the world the polio vaccine was a Jew. Jesus Christ was a Jew.

  3. I would like to somewhat disagree. The former ambassador of Israel is against conducting exhumations at Jedwabne. Jews died and that's all they need to know. They already have made up their mind about it. Well that's an interesting take on the concept of Truth or even reality. I would like to see prooves. It is not a graveyard but a mass grave so is even know Prohibition in Jewish religious law. Which wouldn't matter anyway because Poland is a secular country. So I am not sure if Jan does not have a point...

  4. Hanna Jews do not have a separate truth. I hope you meet some Jewish people some day and overcome your prejudices.

By the way I don't want to debate this. You and Jan Peczkis have had a chance to voice your opinion, and I've stated mine.

  5. Hi Danusha, I do not believe that Jews have a separate Truth. I just wanted to point out that, with the exhumations in Jedwabne, such an Argumentation is used by the Jewish side. And it really makes them look bad...

      Good.

      "the Jewish side"

There is no Jewish side. There are various people on many sides who hold various positions.

You can see from this blog that though I am of Polish descent I don't agree with other people of Polish descent.
